Let’s agree with a fact I was going through some extraordinary tough period of time. The main reason why, I could say, is my all-summer-holidays in Lithuania. Before leaving, I decided to quit my barista job for good. It seemed as a full stop to the London beginner kind of life. Anyways, when I came back to London, I had no job and was struggling with finding a new one. Perhaps because I didn’t really know or even think of what kind of company would be suitable for me, as a full-time student.
As I started my new job 2 weeks ago, I can finally announce that bad days are gone. I started planning new purchases and kept my eye on must-have lists.
I’ve been obsessed with minimalism lately. I guess that reasons are pretty obvious, it is easier to keep everything tidy and right, when your life is only in black, white & grey.
Also, I guess, that Monthly wish lists aka what-to-buy blog posts is a handy thing, as I won’t go over my limit on my pay day and then cry for another month. From now on, I will try to keep it a monthly thing. Let’s do this.
1. Oh Gosh, Black Opium by YSL is my new favourite sense. Need it in my life ASAP! So wintery and chic. I could say, that the smell doesn’t really come along with blonde girls, but I adore it! And the price is affordable as well.
2. I’ve seen many bloggers and vloggers reviewing Charlotte Tilbury make-up and skincare products, the majority of them loved it and the only way to get the idea of the product is to give it a try, I did and it is just adorable! Really soft and matte finish, long lasting look and shape helps to apply it super quick.
3. Magazine of the month: Blogosphere with Sammi on the cover. She always wanted to be a cover girl and guess what, the dream came true! Blogosphere is one of must have purchases if you call yourself a blogger, want to be one, or just admire trendy as well as fashionable lifestyle.
4. Last month, British Vogue released Series of 6 Episodes with Alexa Chung talking of fashion industry. Miss Chung is a Princess of Fashion for almost 20 years already! And in 2013 Alexa wrote a book called ‘IT’, even the cover is more adorable then my eyeliner every morning. Feeling a bit jealous of being ‘It girl’ honestly.
5. Cashmere, Wool, Silk, did I say Cotton? It can be softer than cushion that you had a good Sunday nap on. One of the essentials for every Autumn/Winter, especially when you live in always windy London!
6. Minimal handbag from Zara seems like designed especially for art students. Maxi size would fit a sketchbook, MacBook and much more goods. Minimal, black and with silver details, would look perfect even with Adidas Superstar or pointy heels.
7. Essential – comfortable and simple Dr. Martens shoes, once again, would match with the wide range of clothing garments and socks, let's improvise with net and knit!
8. Still in a waiting mood for my bangs to get longer, but cannot wait to wear knitted beanies and pompom hats. Matching color for blondes, brunettes, pastels, grandmas or no hair fans – GREY and even more than 50 shades.
9. Knitwear, grey, wool, turtle and high round neck sweaters. Protection from unwanted looks and Let’s get it started!
